All gravel park has very easy access off I-10 and big rig friendly. There are no frills but camp host was very nice and accommodating. We were planning to stay in Deming but due to wind and rain it was getting dark so we stopped early. Park was well lit at night. Great view of the mountains and convenient to fuel at the Flying J just up the service road if you're headed (north) west on I-10 on your way out. We would definitely stay again.

Rate reflects VK discount with some points cashed in. Park has easy access off I-30 and not too much highway noise. Roads are gravel as are most sites. Some satellite friendly sites and some shady. There is a nice pool which was still open early October. Sites are level and fairly wide with grass between and lots of open grassy areas including a nice sized pond with cabins overlooking and/or overhanging. We also found the office closed between noon and two, with customer service not exactly welcoming, but it is October and I wouldn't describe the attitude as rude. We would stay again.

We camped here in late October due to business in Waller. The price we were charged for two retirees who used NONE of the few amenities which were open during the week for the three days we stayed included a $7 per day per person "amenities charge". This is absolutely LUDICROUS and probably the reason there were less than a handful of non-workampers staying at this park. When we arrived on a Sunday afternoon there were four workampers visiting in the office and two on golf carts within 20 feet of our rig visiting, and we were left to our own accord to find our site. Then there were the low branches we had to dodge to get to it. While walking the dog I waved at one workamper on a cart who looked right at me and did not respond. Rude people and rude policies seemed to prevail. Very dark at night. We will not return.

Very nice staff escorted to site. Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Do not take credit cards, so take cash or check. Gravel roads and sites are level with some concrete. Many long term residents here who kept their sites fairly nice. We would stay again.

Beautiful newer park has mostly concrete roads and all concrete sites. We got a good Verizon signal and satellite TV from our dome. This was our second visit. Park could easily be a 10 with some weed and ant control. Management is very nice. There is highway noise closer to the highway but it did not bother us much. We will definitely stay again.

As other reviewers have stated this is a nice older park with wide sites. Owners are nice and friendly. Sites are level concrete with paved roads. Our site had a broken outbuilding and some debris from previous campers, but overall it was a nice place to stay. We would stay again.

Price reflects a Good Sam discount. Staff is helpful and nice. They even start up the grills every day at 5 pm and invite you to take your meat over and cook it at one of the shelters. It's very convenient, just up the road from the Eureka Springs Great Passion Play, and a short walk to mass if you're Catholic. We had a great view of the hills and valleys. The gravel sites were a bit tight, and if there are two rigs in front of you at check-in you will have difficulty getting off the street. There are some low branches to beware of. When we got ready to leave there was quite a bit of traffic so we had to get outside the park to hook up the toad. We encountered difficulty with our Verizon cellular signal but our internet card worked fine. We would stay again if we could not find another park where our Verizon worked in the area. The long drive into the area from east or west has steep hills and tight curves but worth the trip.

This was a nice campground. We were given the site right next to the office since we specifically requested satellite TV from our dome. This site was too tight to get out our awning, and we could barely walk between the slide and the bush on the passenger side. We considered ourselves lucky to have satellite. Road beyond park has a low branch. Campground roads and sites are gravel. Staff was very nice. I'm personally a little suspicious of the number of reviews for this park: especially first time and second time reviewers. (And I have reviewed and read lots of them). Located close to interstate, restaurants and shopping. We would stay again.

Rate reflects VK discount. This was our second stay as we have relatives in the area. We stayed during the week and missed the meals we had enjoyed last visit. Still clean and friendly. We would definitely stay again even though it seems overpriced.

Price reflects a weekly rate. I'm rating this park a 6 because I liked the owners/staff. There are numerous dead trees taller than our motor home with branches gone and bark falling off. The sites are very tight, although they were considerate enough not to park anyone next to us. Many permanent/long-term folks with some noisy dogs. Lots of street noise from Hwy. 75 on the west side of the park and train noise, and then there is the exodus noise of long term folks going to work in the mornings. There was lots of standing water with the rain, and overgrown weeds in the grassy areas. They pick up your trash in the mornings. Better than dry camping, but not much. Very dark at night. Biggest positive was technicians from nearby RV repair came and worked on some of our problems. Would stay again if we needed to be in the area since there is not much else around.

Rate reflects weekly rate. This is a nice park still making improvements/additions. We found the staff extremely friendly. I cannot with a clear conscience say it is "big rig friendly". Chinaberry Road is narrow with low branches and there were low branches inside the park. Sites are concrete, some with concrete patios. There are several ponds but we did not fish. We had Verizon signal problems both with our cellular and our internet connection. The Wi-Fi in the park was difficult to find and we were never able to connect to it. There is a sulfur smell related to a plant of some sort next door. Beautiful clubhouse but the pool was closed in late September when we stayed. We would stay again if we did not need cellular and if there was not something more big rig friendly and convenient.

Park is now KOA Tulsa NE. Rate reflects VK discount for gravel pull through site. Registration is still inside the casino. Bath house/pavilion and playground are new. It seemed small for the number of sites. They are still making improvements including some new concrete patios and curbing as if they intend to pave some sites. We stayed during a period of unusually heavy rains so there was some standing water/mud, but sites were level. There was grass between sites and they were fairly wide. Verizon and satellite were no problem, but there was no shade. We would stay again.

Although there were several here: we did not find this park to be "big rig friendly". The trees at our site (and throughout the park for that matter) had large black spots all over them and were touching the top of the slides when we put them out. We asked for the trees to be trimmed and they could not get to it until the following day when it was raining. We needed the awning out but were unable, to do so. It was actually the second day before they trimmed the trees. Due to some very tight turns: we scratched our coach on a bush which had been previously trimmed leaving sharp points on the side. Our cable TV was not working so we shared with a neighbor who had a splitter. The owners' five white dogs are beyond noisy; and the front side of the campground gets highway noise. The pool was tiny. There are indeed some unsightly permanent sites and stored units. We will not return unless it is absolutely unavoidable.

I would not recommend visiting this campground with a dog or children. It seems the comfort of the owner’s huge, out-of-control black Lab is paramount. We are dog owners and dog lovers traveling with a puppy. I didn’t complain about having to pick up after his dog so we didn’t step in it outside our door. I didn’t complain about its obnoxious barking and rearing up on people. But when my husband went to inquire if we could stay another two days to take care of business in the area, the dog aggressively rolled our puppy (which was leashed and exhibiting signs he was happy to see another dog) twice onto his back and my husband pulled the growling dog, (almost three times the size of ours) off of him. Dogs misbehave. Our dog wasn’t hurt. And we got over it. But one would expect the owner to correct the misbehavior and apologize to his paying guests. Rather, he became ridiculously irrational and took every opportunity to continue to insult us and our dog, and insisted upon making excuses for this inappropriate behavior. It became evident we were suddenly not welcome at the park, but we finished our stay because he did not want to refund the days we had already paid for. I would have rated this park a 7, but the owner’s bizarre statements and actions honestly frightened me. We will never return.

This is a beautiful, well planned and well managed resort. Staff is super friendly. There was a good blend of retirees and families with kids, and some folks seemed to be here for the long haul. Restrictions exist on length and age of rigs, so check their website before you arrive. Security gated with easy access off Highway 131. Very nice check-in area and the park has asphalt streets with concrete pads. Many sites have a lake view and all have fire rings and picnic tables. The utilities are oddly placed, so make sure you have plenty of cord and hose to reach. The ponds have fountains, and there were some beautiful swans visiting. It's a large park but does not feel crowded. We would definitely stay again although it is probably overpriced.

Price includes our Value Kard discount, so it seems overpriced but everything is brand new as it's only five months old and has wide, level, gravel sites. Lots of tall shade trees and we were lucky enough to get a satellite TV signal from our dome, but the back-in sites at the end of the park may have a better chance. We did not try the Wi-Fi. Owners are delightful and this park is still under improvement. It's very quiet and convenient to Bluffton businesses and about 13 miles off of I-69.

Nice, wide, level shaded gravel sites with grass and trees between. We had good Verizon and satellite signal from our dome. We were there during the week and it was very quiet. Sites 1-13 are first come, first serve self check-in. No sewers and some sites have water and 50 amp service, but there is a convenient dump station. Host is in site #75. We were advised to get to Michna Road from 6 Mile Rd. and that the guides are incorrect that there is NO access from 7 Mile Rd. There are playgrounds for the children. Roads are asphalt. We stayed two nights and would have liked to have stayed longer.

A very convenient park to the interstate but does have some highway noise. There are also a factory and an airport nearby that contributes some noise. The sites are gravel/dirt and level. Some sights were tight. Although there were other 50 amp sites available they frequently parked someone on our narrow side so we could barely get out our awning. With the windows open or while outdoors we occasionally smelled manure. There are lots of tenters on the weekends. The Verizon signal was good. A nice park though and well maintained. We would stay again.

Price reflects Passport America discount for two of three nights including tax. This is a nice overnight stop convenient to I-74 and Bloomington/Normal. The sites are level with loose gravel and some dirt and grass sites. Part of the roads are paved. Nice pool and dog walk areas. We were situated on the end near the highway (where the 50 amp hook ups are) so we had quite a bit of highway noise, but there are numerous sites further away. Owners were friendly and pick up trash at your site if you bag and put it out. We got good Verizon signal and satellite off our dome. We would stay again.

The price paid was $3 more for a holiday weekend. It included a ticket for buy one, get one free breakfast and use of the paddle boats for a full hook up 50 amp back-in site. Big rigs are doable but Crazy Horse Road is pretty narrow getting out to the campground. Although this park was our worse nightmare, as our Verizon phones and cell card did not get a signal and our satellite dome was under a tree and we were here for work purposes, we quickly discovered once we resigned ourselves to the loss of modern technologies that the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful and the folks were friendly. There were many "regulars" who lived within a few miles of the campground and come out for the weekend. There is a swimming beach and fishing, lots of activities -- there was a Fourth of July parade and Bingo, a nice playground and game room. It's a little far off the beaten path, but would make a nice weekend getaway with the kids or away from the phones, internet and TV.

The rate is Passport America for a back in site with 50 amp and air conditioning surcharges. Sites are fairly wide, some with concrete pads. Roads appear to be asphalt and gravel. There is a swimming beach on one of the lakes and lots of open grassy area. Verizon signal was strong. We had intermittent low water pressure. Campground is just outside of Bushnell but fairly remote. Very quiet atmosphere when we were there. Laundry area appeared run down. We would stay again if in the area.

Nice wide concrete sites with paved roads and grass between. Park has a convenient dump station as there are no sewer hook ups. Pull through sites for the most part are not shaded but several other sites are. There is good security but we did not see a casino shuttle. There is a water park next door for the kids. The weekends get crowded but it's fairly quiet during the week. We got a good Verizon signal and satellite TV dome access. It appears the cable wire is not working. Restrooms and laundry were clean. GPS did not seem to recognize Empress Drive and wanted to send us further out on I-80 than necessary. We would camp here again.

The park has level concrete pull thru sites with picnic tables on concrete patios and grass between sites. It is an easy off/on for I-35. They do not take reservations and you pay at the valet parking area near the casino. There are some tight turns with concrete barriers, so use caution getting to your site. The grassy areas were very soft due to heavy rains, resulting in lots of grooves/mud next to the concrete where rigs have missed the pavement. There were also a large rut or two in the roads. We had no problem with the breakfast buffet and enjoyed the friendly attitude of the staff. Some folks were enjoying the fishing lake adjacent to the park. We will stay again.

This is our campground of choice while in the Twin Cities area. Although it is not as convenient as some of the others we find it clean, secure and friendly. Nice level concrete sites and paved roads with shade trees, picnic tables, fire rings, and barbeque grills with the casino within walking distance (although they have shuttles). We probably would not care for the side-by-side pull thru sites, but the back in sites are very nicely spaced. Price is two days weekend rate with a $5/off coupon for one weekday night. We will definitely stay again.

We got the last, and probably least desirable space, next to the store. The other five sites appeared to be long term campers. We were close to the street, but not too much noise. There is quite a bit of traffic that drops off movies and drives around the building to exit. Owners were nice. Site was level and gravel. Park is convenient to downtown Lindsborg, which offers nice shops and restaurants and a rich Swedish heritage. We would stay again.

This was our second visit to this campground since we have family in the immediate area. Lots of smaller tent sites and some back-in and pull through sites which are larger. There is a picnic pavillion, volleyball net, and not much more. A few of the sites have shade and/or a lake view. There is fishing, boating, walking trails, etc., all within approximately a quarter to half mile. The sites are roomy but all are not level. We watched deer out the front window in the evenings. Our Verizon internet connection was slow but working. The weekends bring lots of tenters, but it's fairly empty during the week. The camp hosts were extremely helpful. The campground is gated. We will camp here again.

Enter the fairgrounds at 20th and Poplar. Follow the paved road to the left and all the way to the north end of the fairgrounds. Payment envelopes and after hours information flyers are available near the restrooms. The streets are paved. The sites are level grass/dirt and there are quite a few handicapped spaces which had concrete patios and sidewalks. We had no one beside us, but it seemed like sites could have been tight with neighbors and slides/awnings. No frills park, but very convenient to Hutchinson and the surrounding areas. We would stay again.

WE DID NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. We drove in after following the above link to the website which quoted 50 amp service at $19.50/night to find they do not have 50 amp and we would be charged $25/night plus tax to use two 30s. When I questioned about the 50 amp I was told they were "mislead" into believing they could use a pigtail but it did not work. I explained my resource for the misinformation, was asked to present it, and was told to let it be a lesson not to believe everything I see online. There was a Good Sam decal on the door but they also do not accept GS discounts. After driving way out of our way, the owners failed to accept our offer of $20, so we left finding their attitude leaving a lot to be desired. Sites are level and across from a park, but we certainly will not return.

We have typically avoided mobile home parks in the past, but due to convenience to business in the area, we decided to give it a try. The park appears to have been established in the 1960's and some areas are somewhat in disrepair, but the new owners are working hard to make improvements. We found the owners very attentive to our needs when we experienced an electrical problem, they were right on top of it and made the necessary repair. The sites are spacious with concrete sidewalks, patios, and grass next to dirt parking. We experienced the "homey" feel of a neighborhood, complete with cul-de-sac type areas complete with storm shelters. I have to disagree with the previous reviewer as to being "quiet", as there were some really obnoxiously noisy dogs in our area. We got good Verizon and satellite signal and would definitely stay again.

This is a nice newer park with concrete streets and long, level concrete sites. There is nice spacing, good angles, and nice grass between. We were escorted to our site and shown how to work the water. The dog area, pool and playground are also very nice. We had bad weather but did not use the storm shelter. The down side to this park was the many long term campers, that in many cases occupy the more desirable end sites in units over 15 years old. There were cats running loose under our car and jumping into our bays. One site had a camper, a trailer, two cars, three motorcycles, and a satellite dish with concrete blocks and other misc. items crowded into one space. Several sites had 2-3 vehicles in addition to the camper. I observed one semi-permanent guest not picking up after her dog in the dog area where a scoop and bags are provided. I recognize times are tough with the economy, but maybe grouping the long term guests in one area of the park would be helpful. We would return in the hopes some of the above problems will have been rectified.

The rate reflects a Golden Age Passport 50% discount. This is an Army Corps of Engineers lake with two different campgrounds. About half the sites have 50 amp service. There are no sewer hook ups but dump stations are available. There are boat ramps and docks. Many of the sites have grills and covered picnic tables and fire rings with shade trees. We had some difficulty maneuvering to get satellite signal from our dome but Verizon cell card and phones worked well. Most of the sites have lake access and are somewhat level. It was very quiet during the week but fills up on weekends. Nicely spaced sites with a playground, amphitheater, picnic shelter, swimming area and group camping area. There is also a nature trail. Some branches need a trim. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

The park has narrow dirt/gravel roads with concrete pads on some sites. We found it a bit challenging for a big rig, but doable. There were some low branches and the roads were soft with ruts due to recent heavy rains. There are lake views and a nice lake within walking distance as well as a petting zoo. Satellite reception could be a problem with the abundance of mature trees, but we got a signal off our dome and good reception on our Verizon Internet connection but did not try the WiFi. We would stay again if in the area.

We were not happy campers when we drove in expecting to pay the $14 Passport America price and were advised their rates had gone up to $20. The turn in looks like someone's drive so we missed it and called for assistance and they did not answer the phone (twice). There are "keep off the grass" signs everywhere, which really should have read "keep off the weeds". I guess they want people to stay indoors. We saw some serious fire ant colonies, and their is a noisy nightclub on the south end and a bunch of noisy dogs on the north end of the park. The water pipes are wrapped sloppily with duct tape and insulation dangling in the wind. The sites are wide and long with concrete at the back and gravel that is very level. Dumpsters are plentiful. There are some broken down units at the front part of the park. I would have been happy to stay for $14, but for $20 I expect a little more.

We loved this park. The sites are level gravel and fairly wide. The staff was great and the breakfasts and dinners were a good deal. There is some air traffic noise due to the park's proximity to Tinker AFB, but mostly during the day. There seemed to be some improvements ongoing, but everything was working and the park was clean and shaded. Our Verizon card was a bit slow but not a huge problem. We did not try the Wi-Fi. We will definitely stay here again.

We had reserved over the internet specifying we needed satellite from our dome. The first site they put us in not only did not have satellite but also only had 30 amp and we did not have room for our car. The second site offered also did not look hopeful for satellite reception and had some low branches. While we were working with a staff member to crop the low branches and possibly head in backwards, someone else moved into the site. We wound up in a back-in with the long timers. The site was too short and there were so many cars at the parking area we could not find a place to park during the weekend. I had to go back and ask for a receipt. The road into the park is very bumpy and there was lots of construction. There is also a peculiar circle drive with "no parking between signs" which is difficult to do in a longer motor home. There were other low branches making it difficult to maneuver. Children were screaming in the pool before 10:00 a.m., and although the dog area was newly cut, it was at least four inches tall. In addition to the construction noise, there is a nearby airport with loud low-flying single engine planes that had quite a bit of traffic. While we were struggling to find a spot to fit, there was a nice site that was "reserved" but empty that evening, so someone else apparently got a service which was not offered to us. We will not stay again.

The price reflects a pull-thru site with our Value Card discount. We found the owners and other staff and guests very friendly and helpful. The sites are level and gravel with great satellite signal. Our Verizon signal was a little weak but okay. We enjoyed a good breakfast for $10. The park has lots of foxtails and burrs which easily found our dog, so check your pet if they've been out. We would stay again, although it seemed a little overpriced.

This is a beautiful newer park. Our rate is a weekly plus one night averaged. We stayed in a regular back-in that did not have room for our 40' and compact car, so we had to walk to parking. The site was also not real wide, although it was separated by flowering shrubs which attracted hundreds of bees. We also had some issues with low water pressure, as did other campers, in the morning and evenings. The clubhouse and pool are very nice. They offer two rounds of golf per day and the pads are concrete. There is also an off-leash area for pets. There seemed to be a lot of ridiculous rules that are "strictly enforced" but they are not, and some of the property owners seem to believe they are exempt from the rules, as I was chased by the same unleashed dog three times in two days. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

We took advantage of the Internet special -- buy two nights and get a third for free. It looked like they had made some improvements since our last stay nearly a year ago, but there are still lots of permanents and many of the spaces are tight. We had good satellite and Verizon signals. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed a weekend due to our inability to find something less expensive on short notice. This park is grossly overpriced. The regular pull thru sites have a severe uphill slant onto the flat parking area and it makes it difficult to situate so as to park a car behind or in front. We moved to a third site and still had difficulty finding a satellite signal. The dog off-leash area has been completely destroyed by an inconsiderate camper who allowed his/her dog to dig deep holes all over the place. It's a wonder our dog didn't break a leg tripping in these while chasing his ball. Then I noticed the area was infested with fox tails, which vets will tell you are extremely dangerous for dogs. The off leash area is also sharing a fence with the very nice playground, which may be an accident waiting to happen. There were many permanents and tents while we were there. The park does have nice shade and grass. A very nice touch was the dog bath. Our Verizon signal was excellent. There was ample room between sites, and we were given a bag of goodies at check-in, but frankly we have stayed at many nicer campgrounds for much less, and we would prefer to pay less. We will make every effort to reserve a less expensive park in advance next time.

Very nice park which is convenient to the beach and shopping. The first site we were assigned was a little tight due to a tree behind us, so our request for a different site was accommodated cheerfully. Sites are level gravel with some shaded. Okay, the views ARE spectacular! The problem is there are lots of abusers. Our site was loaded with cigarette butts, and walking along we observed plastic bottles, beer lids and cans, and a bag of smashed dog poop, right near the drains into the ocean. One of the dumpsters had soapy suds seeping out of it as if someone bagged their gray tank and put it inside, again running towards the drains into the ocean. It is hard to climb down or find spots to climb down to the water, especially with a dog. We had to park near the cement wall since there was insufficient space for our 40' rig and car in a space except between the wall and street. There are signs at all the pay stations to indicate anything left outside (even if chained to your vehicle) will be stolen. Our dog rarely barks in the night but got pretty excited here, where there is no light. What a beautiful place which will no doubt be shut down in just a matter of time, thanks to some really rude people.

We stayed a week on the 1/2 price special. We were impressed with the organized activities and the Friday wine and cheese get-together (it was the last one for the season), which really gave us an opportunity to meet other campers and learn the good spots to see/dine, etc. in the area. We really enjoyed this park although our space was slightly too short for our 40' rig and there were rabbits everywhere. The three dog runs (we only were able to find two) are all at one end of this large park and really too small for the number of sites. We found a dead rabbit at the dog area one evening and the dog area smelled bad all the time. We would stay again but in a longer site.

We found this park a little challenging. The street in front of the gate is grooved where rigs have scraped entering and leaving. Our site had the hook-ups on the back right (about which we were warned), but even had they been on the correct side, it would have been difficult to drain the tanks up the incline to the sewer. The spot was tight, requiring us to park the car across and down the lot from our coach, and our slides nearly touched the neighbor's slides. There is nice shade and the host was helpful. There is airport noise and potential for damage from golf balls. Our rate reflects a 10% senior discount. We would stay again if unavoidable.

Park host was nice and helpful. The sites are level, asphalt and the pull-thru sites have 50 amp and cost an extra $5 per day. There is a lot of activity with motor sports just east of the park which can be noisy, especially during the weekend. Our first night was a Friday and we heard a microphone speaker and music and then traffic until 2 a.m. coming from somewhere near the fairgrounds. Also, you should be aware this is near a California state prison and there are inmate workers tending the grounds. Park is convenient to new Wal-Mart Super center. We had good Verizon and satellite signals. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would camp here again.

Delightful park with concrete sites. Our back-in was a bit too snug for our 40' rig and compact SUV, but they charge $2 more for a pull thru. The sewer key thing was an annoyance, but I suspect it is some type of city code to ensure you have the proper hose connection. The 2 pm check-in is enforced with a $10 early fee, and a $10 cash deposit is required for a restroom/pool/laundry key. We printed a coupon off the website for the lower rate, but they charged us an extra $5 for 4 days for one dog. We did not use the WiFi, but our Verizon card worked very well. We found an off-leash dog park close by on Red Hawk and Hwy. 79. I would have rated this park a 9, but because they permit site specific reservations, although the park is nearly empty, available sites are quite limited unless you are willing to move. Staff and casino personnel were nice and helpful.

The sites are not very level and the gravel is large with narrow roads. There are storage units on site. We were assigned a spot that was already occupied and ended up right next to the garbage dumpster. There was lots of road noise and we observed a large dog running loose. Our dog got two sand burrs back-to-back when we walked him on the trail. The management was extremely helpful and cooperative. We would probably not stay here again.

This is a pretty park in the San Diego greater metro area. Lots of the sites are paved with a number of semi-permanent campers who keep it fairly tidy. Many of the sites are fairly wide. The price reflects a weekly rate including a dog fee. The dog run area is dirt and they provide bags but you will need a good flashlight as parts of the park can be very dark at night. And beware the sprinklers come on strong with little warning. We found an off-leash park divided for dogs over and under 30 lbs. in nearby LaMesa, which is also mostly dirt. Lots for kids to do. We had great difficulty with Verizon and our cell card, even after moving to a second location which provided a somewhat better signal but service was still up and down. Other campers complained of this also. The Verizon problem was something of a shock considering we were so close to a major metro area. At the second site we got tiny ants, and even after they sprayed the "really potent" stuff they could only spray when there was no breeze, the ants returned within a day or two. It's possible we would stay again since the rate is competitive, if we could not find a better option as we really need reliable cell service.

Very nice level gravel sites. We had good cellular and satellite signals. Pick a site and pay prior to hook up at the Shell station. Little highway noise. Price is Passport America with tax. Easy access from I-8. Great deal for an overnight stop.

Beautiful park with concrete roads and wide concrete sites with grassy areas between. The sites nearest the highway are going to have some highway noise. The park is fairly new so some of the trees are not yet mature, but there are many shaded sites. The clubhouse and laundry/bath houses are beautiful and clean. Management was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice newer park with big rig access, pull throughs and very well planned. Sites are gravel and level with plenty of room. The owners of this park are SUPER nice! We mentioned that someone had hit our rig with a paint ball, and not only did they suggest a remedy, but actually had their son come out and go up the ladder and take care of it for us practically before we got hooked up! There were horses on site and a bit of a smell, but it's certainly horse friendly. We would not stay anywhere else when in the Alamogordo area.

Management was extremely helpful. There is a new laundry facility and the restrooms are under construction. Level gravel sites are fairly wide with some pull thru's and some back-ins. Quiet and convenient to town. We will definitely stay again.

The sites are level dirt/gravel. We had to use back-to-back sites as the sites are small. Manager was helpful in accommodating our need for more space and electric for our big rig. There was an airport and train nearby and lots of flies left over from the Fair. Lots of noise from races at the track, so check the schedule if you don't want the noise and dust. There was trash, including cigarette butts, broken beer bottles, etc. and it could be really messy if it rained. We also noticed a natural gas smell. We will not stay here again.

Beautiful park consisting of privately owned spacious concrete super-sites, beautifully landscaped, which can be leased with or without the casita. The clubhouse, amenities, and facilities are top notch, and there are lots of planned social activities. Owners/renters are allowed access to the nearby state park, bike and kayak rentals, and there is a delightful dog run which they share with Bentsen Palm Village. We would most definitely stay again when in the area.

This park is absolutely beautiful, quiet, and clearly a 10 plus with regard to facilities. It is located right next door to Bentsen State Park, the birding and butterfly centers, and they even provide bicycles and kayaks to take advantage of the trails. The sites are beautifully landscaped and paved (mostly concrete). Dog lovers will be hard pressed to find a better off leash area at any park anywhere. There are only a couple of permanent type sites, and lots of returning Winter Texans. The pool is smaller than one would expect. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I rated the park down due to its reservation policies which permit February residents to reserve a specific site for the following year resulting in turning away lots of folks, or causing them to move to a different site and then having vacancies due to cancellations which occur with regularity and with only a minimal penalty. If you're not a returning guest from the previous year, it can be very difficult to get into this park during January or February.

We stay occasionally due to relatives in the area. Price reflects weekly rate. There are some newer concrete sites and some older gravel sites. There are some abandoned trailers and long termer's. The nearby outlet mall is nearly abandoned, but there is a good Mexican restaurant and a family style restaurant very close. It is a 20-30 minute drive into greater Kansas City, but the park is situated right off I-70. We did hear some highway noise. The store on site and the staff is very nice. We will stay again.

Really nice park with a competent and friendly staff. There is shuttle service to the casino but it is an easy walk. Security was great! There appear to be surveillance cameras plus they are driving through regularly. We printed online coupons for fuel and our site and took advantage of the RV/car wash. The back-in sites are spacious and the pull throughs are two side-by-sides. There is a nice playground area and primitive tipi's are available for rent. Laundry room was clean. We will stay again.

There is a significant bump which is not readily visible getting in and out of the park. We also smelled urine and manure from the numerous stables. Staff was friendly and park is conveniently located but directions should be obtained as it is not clearly marked or described in the directions. The park is predominantly gravel, thus there is little to no grass to walk a dog. For the price we felt it was a good deal as the sites were wide and long with full hook-ups. We would probably stay here again.

This is a nice campground convenient to Rochester. I found their website not to be working and only the toll-free phone number working. The campground has shuttle service to and from Mayo Clinic and is typically fuller during the week than on the weekends. We enjoyed good Verizon card and cellular signal. Even though most of the trees are immature we encountered a low branch near the exit. We would stay again.

The park has easy access to sand dunes. We had difficulty with our Verizon internet card and the park's Wi-Fi signal was up and down. Satellite reception was good. The sites were somewhat close with landscaping which needed to be trimmed. Overall it is a good park and we would stay here again.

This is a very nice campground for the Passport America price. There is easy access off the interstate, escort to your site, friendly staff, and we enjoyed a beautiful night sky. The roads are gravel and it had been dry with lots of grasshoppers in the fields, but the grass at the sites was watered. We would definitely stay again.

OK park but the sites were narrow. Some low hanging branches we had to dodge in the park. The pool looked nice but requires a $5 refundable deposit for entry. Verizon cellular and broadband worked well. Would probably stay again in the area but felt it was pricey.

This is a beautiful park about mid-way from the east and west entrances to Glacier National Park. It's in a large meadow surrounded by mountains and very convenient off Hwy. 2. We camped in a pull-thru site and had to relocate from our original assigned spot as the hook-ups were oddly located such that we were unable to reach them. The Wi-Fi signal was fairly good and there are no sewer hook-ups, but arrangements can be made for the honey wagon. Due to the fact cellular signals are weak, they have established a protected zone at a shelter near the sites. We would absolutely stay here again.

This park appears to be fairly new and in good repair. It is adjacent to a motel with a nice restaurant and includes use of the indoor pool. The sites are gravel and well spaced but the trees are immature. We got good satellite and Verizon card reception. We would stay here again.

Campground has paved roads with well spaced and nicely landscaped sites. Park is well maintained and we found the staff to be quite helpful. They do require jack pads or boards to protect their pavement. Many of the larger back-in sites have concrete pads and patios equipped with tables and chairs. There was even a nice grill we were allowed to use after asking that belonged to the park. We used the laundry room and found it to be reasonable and clean. We would definitely camp here again.

The park is right on Hwy. 2 on the east side of town. Use of the pool and exercise room at the adjacent Best Western is included in the price. The layout is quite different, with parking for bigger rigs along the curb of the center island, and lots of small back-in spaces around the perimeter. We had to move out from behind the trees to the south side for satellite reception, but had no problems with our Verizon card. It was well kept and we would camp here again.

This is a very nice park and the staff is quite helpful. It is convenient to I-5 and shopping. An extremely nice walking trail adjoins the park. Our water-heater went out and the showers were immaculate. We were situated under a tree and had difficulty with our satellite dome reception, but they provide cable. We will definitely stay here again.

The park managers were very nice. The sites were level and shaded but we still had good Verizon and satellite reception. This is a nice small park and we would definitely stay here again. They do not accept credit or debit cards, so bring cash or checks.

This is a nice park with two sections. One section has very tight, side-by-side sites. We stayed in a nice gravel pull through and our rate reflected a stay six nights, get the seventh night free Value Kard rate. The management and staff was very helpful and friendly. We were there during recent heavy rains and there was much attention to ensuring there was ample gravel on the roads. There is not much entertainment or dining in the immediate area, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

This is a very busy campground due to its location in the Twin Cities. There is shopping and a Camping World within a few miles. Twice we have been unable to book the dates we wanted as they had no sites available for our big rig, so book early. The management was friendly and the sites were so-so. We used a Verizon internet card and cellular without problems. There appeared to be some long term folks. We would stay again, but reserve early.

Park has level gravel sites. We stayed on a weekend and there were lots of tent campers (soccer or ball teams) which caused traffic and parking issues within the park. Access to the interstate and shopping were convenient, and we would stay here again.

The sites are gravel and fairly tight, but there are nice grassy areas between and mature shade trees. The pool area was nice and there were some muddy areas behind the store due to recent rains/flooding. The store and personnel were friendly and there were nice pet exercise areas. We would definitely stay here again.

The park is a no-frills field with full hook-ups. I don't think they had restroom facilities, but I'm uncertain. There was little to no shade, and the mosquitoes were frightening even to former Minnesotans. They attacked in broad daylight in the heat, and we literally had to plan our escape between the motor home and car at dusk or daylight. They attacked our car if we slowed to a stop in town. This city really needs to take some action. The sites are level and spacious. We would stay here again with lots of repellent.

The park has lots of seasonals but they are well maintained. There are lots of activities for the kids and we stayed in a level pull-thru gravel site with grassy areas between. We had no problems with either our Verizon broadband card or cellular service. We would stay here again.

This was a delightful park. We stayed on a level, shady gravel pull-thru site. There was popcorn and a movie. The price reflects our KOA Value Card discount, so it is a little pricey, but there is lots to do for the kids. We will stay again.

We stayed in one of the gravel shared T-sites. The shade was very nice. We had a problem with lots of rain and a low place near our stairs that was filling with water, which the staff quickly rectified per our request. Amish wagons came through selling baked goods. Lots of regulars on the weekends. We enjoyed the park and would stay again, even if the sites are a little tight.

This park is a little off the beaten path. We were there over the Memorial Day weekend and did not seem to fit in well with the seasonal/weekend crowd. There were lots of families with kids and ATV's with lots of activities. They had a band and the DJ was talking a little "off-color" for our tastes given the fact adolescents were present. The site was muddy but the staff was extremely helpful in resolving the initial issue we had parking our large rig. Road construction without clear markings caused some confusion.

Rate reflects Passport America discount. There are numerous permanents at this park, and the sites are rather tight. The original site we were assigned was sandy, and we were fearful of getting stuck, so they rigged up another site for 50 amp for us. Management was friendly and helpful. We will stay again.

The rate quoted is Passport America with the $2 electric charge. This campground is a little out of the way and is divided by a road. There are a lot of permanent type rigs in the older section and the road is a little "dippy" getting up the hill into the newer section. In the older area there were some bothersome dogs. A no-frills park but we would stay again if in the area.

Check-in area was inadequate for traffic. Gravel sites. Rate reflects FMCA discount. We stayed in the lower long pull thru area and would stay again.
